i got my new arrows yesterday. spent most of my time at SACSS fixing them up. this is what they look like now





we were just given the hollow arrows at first. just a hollow piece of metal. we had to fix on the fletches, nock and points by ourselves. how cool was that? we screwed on the nocks first. mine's a black nock as you can see.



then i fixed on my GREEN and WHITE fletches using super glue and a jig. GREEN and WHITE matches well aint they? (:



then finally i used super glue to go around the points and twisted it into the hollow metal. TADA. an arrow is completed. (:

then went down to shoot for an hour. used both my new and old arrows. the new arrows are heavier so their position on the target board is lower than my lighter old arrows. but the new arrows hit the board with more force. "THWACK!" i love that sound. the guy next to me said that my groupings' good. yay. must IMPROVE and not be COMPLACENT. (: i want to get into the mid-june comp. but must prove myself first. (:
