HELLO PEOPLE. it was combined schools with ngee ann, temasek and cchms.
i met yuleng at tampines mrt station. we met jess, hwee2 and yang hua at THEIR RESPECTIVE STATIONS. lols. we met many other dunmanians on board. many 2C people were on board too. melinda, liyang, jiaqian, shaun, beiqin.. plus many sec1s. jess was hoping not to meet james at clementi. but as we were pulling into the mrt staion at clementi, i saw james. so me being the nice person, messaged him and told him we are on the same train. he walked all the way to where we were and sat at the empty place beside jess. we all said the place was waiting to be filled up by him. ((: jess and i LOVE the dover mrt station. it's so modernized. (: when we reached lakeside, there were many people queuing up for the chartered bus. we went to buy candies and stuff at cheers first. then i met linli when waiting for the bus. ((: she changed so much, she said i never changed. ): must at least say i grow TALLER right. i like her purple specs. lols. then sat the chartered bus to jurong stadium. the dunmanians were seated in the shelter while the other schools were seated out in the rain. but it was only a slight drizzle. waited quite some time before the meet commenced. dhs c girls team is FAB. there was on relay race in which dhs was last initially. but after ophilia took over the baton, she ran till dhs was second. by then everyone was cheering like mad. then shiying was so pro, she ran all the way to first place and the next runner maintained our position, so we won first place. it was exciting, watching that race. the temasek teachers beside us were so enthusiastic. they kept cheering “GO TEMASEK GO! GO TEMASEK GO!” when their students were not in the least bit interested. lol. i cheered until my voice was hoarse. so i ate the pack of ricola sweets i bought. (: including a lot of potato chips and other sweets. leonard made a disgusting concoction. it’s murky brown in colour. and wang lao shi is disgusted by it. (: it must have smelt real bad. -.- yuleng left us halfway to join her squad mates. ): ohyeahs, there was the teachers’ race too. mr lim and mr teo ran so fast, but it was too late, because the other teachers were already leading by a large margin.
after the whole event, the trackers were on the field. and they made yuhding and another sec1 guy wear skirts. in the end they wore the skirts and looked very funny. everybody ohhed and aahed when they wore the skirts. lol. cant remember who said that yd looked sexy. lol. then there was something that made me very pissed off. ms low went to tell the trackers off. she scolded them in front of the temasek people. everyone were like “what’s her problem la” and “what’s wrong with wearing skirts? they just wanted to celebrate.” bleargh. better not elaborate too much.. and dhs won the cheer comp. if we didnt win, I would be totally shocked. cause we were the loudest school and we rocked the whole stadium down. (: then went to lakeside mrt by chartered bus again. then I experienced something quite new. we had to queue up in blocks to enter the station. lol. but it was not totally unreasonable. cause there was simply too many people. didnt wait for long. then ‘slept’ on the mrt.
today, i went for band concert in the afternoon. i met jocelyn at tampines mrt. it was not planned. she got off at tanah merah. met jess at simei and hwee2 at eunos. we were going to plaza sing before going to raffles place. we were commenting on each other’s dressing. lol. hwee2 was the weirdest. she wore a black tee with silver butterflies on it. lol. and her shorts are ORANGE in colour. weird eh? the tee was so girlish and the shorts so boyish. :D then jess surprised us by wearing something girly on top. (: then i wore a sk beige top plus jeans. they had nothing to criticize. (: we were actually meeting yuleng at dhoby ghaut. but she forgot her TICKETS. so she had to go back to get them. we ended up going to plaza sing without her. we went to spotlight and spent a long time choosing materials for i&e. after which, we were much hurried by MS CHAN YU LENG. so we had to rush. met lincoln on the way to dhoby ghaut. hmph. he darn dao. ): anyway, we met yl at dhoby ghaut. almost got lost, so many escalators. she wore a pink adidas top plus jeans. hwee2 so extra. (: wear shorts. then we sat a train to raffles place. we were searching for raffles city when we just stumbled onto Singapore river. lol. maybe not really stumbled. we just found ours at Singapore river. and we ended up eating at bk. the place was so deserted. all of us bought great deal meals without upsize, except for MS CHAN YU LENG, who unknowingly ordered an upsize. ((: the cup of coke was like so HUGE. lol. and she finished way before me. (: wanted to order a kid’s meal. cause there’s the mammoth toy from ice age. but then, I read the menu which goes something like “Kid’s Meal. Small fries. Small drink.”.. bleargh. everything small. so I went for a great deal meal. (: I added a hershey’s sundae pie AGAIN. the cashier forgot about it, so I had to go remind her. then I accidentally toppled some of my coke onto jess’ tray. and she shrieked so loudly. everyone was staring at her. lol. after that, we tried to find our way to vch. we asked two ladies. who appeared very nice, but turned out to have lied to us. ): they told us to walk in the wrong direction. and we had to make a major detour. ): and it was drizzling. okay, maybe they were really nice but didnt want to lose face so they didnt tell us they were not sure of the way themselves. then we asked some shopkeepers. they were very nice. other than telling us how to get there, they told us a faster way. THANKS A LOT! (: so we hurried there. saw many people fishing by the Singapore river. we crossed Cavendah bridge. omg, how I LOVE that bridge. (: the passageway was so HUGE. then we reached vch 15min before the concert. we met MRS GEORGE. I went up to say hi to her. “HELLO MRS GEORGE! remember me? you know my name?” then she replied in her trademark drawl. “I remember teaching you but I dun remember your name.” by then jess, yl and hwee2 decided to come. so she began saying hi to everyone again. she asked us how was school. then we told her our sport’s day was yesterday. she asked us who won the 200m relay or something like that. lol. we were like “err. we dunno.” so embarrassed. she said she was going for speech day. she said she was waiting for her husband who was in the parliament house at that time. then I ended the conversation by saying I need to go to the toilet.. -.- lol. then we went in. I spotted him straightaway. lol. (: then the concert started. we were sitted in blocks and we were in the front row of the second block. so everything was quite clear to us. (:spotted nic, xingqi, joanna. but didn’t manage to see cl and qy. *sigh. wanted to see them play. then halfway in the show, yanghua appeared. lol. she was completely drenched. her hair was dripping wet. then before the interval started, the band had to stand and bow. and suddenly i saw him turn in my direction and raise his eyebrows at someone in my direction (since hwee2 said that there were many other people in front of me and it could have been anyone else that he raised his eyebrows at). graah. and yl, i have a WONDERFUL IMAGINATION. -.- okay, anyway, later during the interval we accompanied yh to the toilet to dry herself. then i lent her my sweater. my dear sweater is now in the hands of yh. then we went back inside. it was time for the alumni band to play. they were a little more entertaining, I think maybe it’s because of their song selection. they played songs i was familiar with, like titanic medley etc. but our school band was fine too, they played classics. (: so enjoyed much of the performance. some of us shouted encore. (: there were 2 extra songs played. but i think it’s prepared already. but it doesn’t matter. then yuleng and jess went to buy dhs dolls which were on sale. then we began walking back to raffles place mrt station. in pairs under umbrellas as it was still raining. ohyeah, just found out that hwee2 is dumber than she seems. (: no offence k. she doesnt know how to use a top-up machine. we had to teach her where to click and where to put in the ez link card and money. and she didnt tell us that she wanted to top up $20. so after inserting $10, she took out her card and put it back in again and began a new round of transaction. lol. then we went home with nothing quite eventful happening.
these two days were fun. but after that, it’s back to studies again. bleargh. nothing more exciting happening this term already, i think?
